The conversation about responsible gun ownership starts with the law, but that responsibility does not end there. Gun owners are morally responsible for their firearms and the ways in which they are used. No one set of laws can describe every situation a gun owner may face, and common sense and courtesy are necessary to navigate changing circumstances.
